What's behind our achievements?

When our design boosts sales 4x, we allow our clients to shift from pragmatism to visionary.

Or when we increase the product's international outlets by 20%.
Or when we increase the product's safety by 30%.
Or when we reduce the production costs by 15%.
Here's how we do it.

01: Organization

We begin with establishing general terms and conditions of cooperation and defining the framework within which we can operate.

1. Brief

We help our clients specify the design guidelines. The document determines the scope of work, goals, budget and timeline. It identifies the target receiver, market realities and concurrence.

2. Offer

We refine the offer together with the customer.

3. Contract

We determine the rules of our future cooperation. Once everything is agreed by both parties we sign the contract and start the creative work.

01: Concept

We respond to the problems posed, develop concepts, prepare sketches and models. Then we discuss the proposals with the client.

1. Research and analysis

We define the user’s needs, usability context, use cases, market situation, ergonomics, production and logistic capabilities.

2. Initial concepts

We respond to the specific challenges through our non-linear approach, flexibility and transparency.

3. Concept presentation

We meet with our client for a workshop (yes, we do work remotely most of the time!) in order to discuss different aspects of the developed concepts to determine the form and features to be refined in further steps

a. We conduct an ergonomic study of the objects at an early stage of the design to provide flawless usability. We often supplement this phase with 3d printed mock-ups.

b. At this stage we already determine the mode of production of each element.

c. The concept presentation concludes with a brainstorming session with the client. The outcome of this phase is a clear aesthetic and functional vision to be developed in further steps.

03: Detailed design

We consult the design with specialists to solve the project's technical and production aspects. We use virtual models and prepare mock-ups in 3D printing.

1. Advancement and testing

We refine and process the concept approved in 01 Phase.

a. We usually work on software using NURBS surface modeling environment.

b. Built models allow efficient consultation with the constructors and technologists in order to avoid any production flaws. Parametric models ensure the constant control over the design.

04: Prototyping and testing

We verify ideas in practice and confront the concept with reality. The more carefully we test, the greater is the certainty that the product will perform well and in consequence it will be accepted by the users.

At this stage we build physical models (imitational or fully-functional) and we run tests on them. Prototyping is the fastest way to cover the distance between the concept and the product- it allows for verification of the ideas hands-on and presents the project’s idea to the constructors. Depending on the complexity of the design, this phase can be repeated in iterations.

1. Documentation

We prepare the documentation adjusted to the chosen techniques that allows an efficient prototype creation.

2. Coordination

We coordinate the making of the elements and get involved in the process.

3. Verification

We evaluate the prototype after conducting the tests. We assemble a testing group or do it by ourselves. All the feedback solutions and observations are written down in the report.

4. Implementation

We implement the conclusions and observations that were formulated throughout the testing and update the design documentation.

05: Design supervision

We are available for consultation throughout the process of technological advancement of the project carried out by external providers.

1. Consultation

We confer the implementation process with production facilities (for example the mould constructors).

2. Documentation

We prepare the technical documentation to meet the requirements of chosen producers. It may consist of 2d drawings, CAD models, material descriptions and simple renderings showcasing chosen colours and material finishes.

3. Implementation prototype

We offer creating an implementation prototype which will enable verification of construction design, tolerances, technical details and assembly.

06: Promotional activities

We reduce the organizational costs of a product launch by designing all the elements essential for its promotion.

1. Graphic design

We complement the design products with a consistent visual identification. We create and deliver the press printed materials for the product launch or online campaign. We prepare the renderings according to the needs of the audience.

2. Packaging

We deliver technical design for packaging. We propose the material options, colours, surface texture and typography, among other elements, so that the packaging is consistent with the product’s character and helps it to stand out from the crowd.

3. Imitational Models

We create highly detailed models that may serve as an element product presentation at a conference, fairs or investor pitch.
